It's clear that the innovation of digital services targeted at the residents and businesses of municipalities needs to be accelerated. However, it would be impossible for a single municipality to do this alone. Fortunately, they don’t have to. Dimpact is the cooperative association of, for and run by municipalities in the Netherlands. Within this cooperative framework, more than 30 municipalities are working together to provide steadily improving public services.

All Dimpact municipalities use the e-Suite business system from Atos to improve their services and business operations. SmartDocuments is used within that system for the automatic generation of documents. Municipal employees no longer need to fill in letters or documents manually. The advantage? A more efficient process and better service for residents. A total of 29 out of 30 Dimpact municipalities are benefiting from the SmartDocuments solution.
