SmartDocuments takes the security of your privacy seriously. We treat personal data with care and do not provide information to third parties without permission. It is in line with the new GDPR legislation of 25 May 2018.

The use of our website is possible without disclosing personal information. There is, however, the possibility to leave your personal data on our website. This is not possible without filling in the details on our forms for more information, contact, newsletter subscription or to register for an event. These details will NOT be shown to third parties without permission.

Cookies

Server log files

WordPress automatically collects and stores files in so-called server log files. These server log files are automatically sent to us by the browser. The server log files are listed below:

  • Browsertype and browserversion
  • Operating system
  • Reference URL
  • Computer username
  • Time of server request

These data cannot be linked to a specific person. The data is also not mixed with other data sources. We reserve the right to use this data if it is noticed that it is being misused or if illegal acts are being carried out.

Contact form

When sending in questions via the contact form, we will receive your details as filled in by you. We will save this information to contact you. For any subsequent questions, we will save this information so that we can come back to it later. Of course, we do not share this data without your permission.

Newsletter

An e-mail address is required when subscribing to the newsletter. This e-mail address will be used to receive the newsletters. In addition, we need a check where you indicate to be the owner of the e-mail address. This information will not be shown to other parties. In addition, at the bottom of every newsletter we send, you can simply click the ''unsubscribe'' button to unsubscribe from the mailing list.

Objection to data collection

Since 23-01-2018, Google no longer has the right to store user data of the SmartDocuments website. In addition, the IP address is made unreadable in order to protect the privacy of users

Facebook plug-in

Xing

Hotjar

Our website uses Hotjar. Hotjar collects data on how website visitors use our website. SSL-encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption for security reasons. The transmission of sensitive data such as requests/questions sent to us are encrypted.
